Jonathon Kerr and fiancée Natalie McMilllan, recently launched a bridal wear business based at Wansbeck Business Park, Ashington.

The pair attended the Wansbeck Business Advice Centre and met with Laura Mathieson, Business Adviser.  Jonathon said “Laura was really helpful and assisted me to develop a business plan and source funding. We could not have started the business without her assistance. My mother had her own floral business and I used to help her when I was a youngster – often dreaming of owning my own business at some stage. When planning my wedding to Natalie we developed the idea to start a business in bridal wear. We decided to put our wedding on hold and invest our savings into our business venture.” 

 
 
Natalie added “I am delighted to have made this decision, as we now have our own retail outlet supplying potential brides to be with fabulous wedding gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses, floral bouquets, accessories and car hire.” She further added that they will meet potential clients at their homes with samples and catalogues, if they can not attend the showroom.
