Each week the award winning team from New Results Training are releasing short 2-3 minute videos with top tips aimed at helping you to increase sales. The aptly titled "Try This This Week" or 3TW videos come out every Monday and give you a challenge to try for that week.

In this first video, Mike looks at what you should do in preparation of meeting a prospective client for the first time. How much time and effort do you put into planning for potential or existing client meetings? What sort of things could you do to make these meetings as engaging and effective as possible?

Once you have wowed them, there is often some sort of follow up involved.

Which leads us nicely on to the second video.

In the second video Mike offers tips on the frequently asked question "when should I follow up on my proposal?" This appears to be one of the most asked questions when people are involved in moving prospects to customers. When do I follow up? Is it a day? A week? A month? How often is too often? Mike shows the simple techniques to get this right for each prospect or customer you work with.

The videos are designed to help anyone involved in any level of selling or business development. The team at New Results Training hope you enjoy the videos and would love to hear of where you have watched, tried and had success by doing things differently. They would also love to hear what topics around selling you would like some answers for or support with.
