We held our first Let's Talk About: Business event at the beautiful Beamish Hall Hotel in June - it was a brilliant, fully funded event for micro and small business owners based in County Durham.

What's the idea?

These new events are split into two sessions – the first is six hours of fully funded support where you’ll join colleagues from across the County to address the issues which affect you in your business every day.

The second session is then developed specifically with your needs in mind ensuring tailored support will help you continue to support and grow your micro business.

Pick the sessions that are best for your business.

This interactive networking and business development event will include all of these great sessions:

  • Sales with Nevil Tynemouth, New Results Training: Becoming a sales success, raising your confidence and hitting your targets
  • Numbers with Darren Glanville, Valued Accountancy:  Understanding your business numbers; profit, loss, cash flow and business stability
  • Marketing with Michelle Rose, Custard and Bear:  How marketing helps drives engagement to convert into sales opportunities
  • Communicating effectively with Nicola Little, Digital Sparkles & The Savvy Solos Business Club: How to manage your digital brand
  • Time Management with Laura Forsyth, Forsyth Business Consultancy: Staying effective across your working week

And after the first event?

We know that after a fantastic day of support you leave inspired and ready to take action! But then 'overwhelmed' and ‘not knowing where to start’ can set in once you’re back in the office.

Having worked with hundreds of small business owners we understand that and that’s why we’re supporting you AFTER the event too! You'll get the opportunity to sign up to a further 6-hours of fully funded support based on your current business needs. So if you feel like you need more support with sales, marketing, time management or your finances you’ll get to work with one of the experts from the day in smaller, focused groups.

You'll also be able to 'meet' one another in our private community on Facebook before the second event. This means you’ll have a complete ‘wrap-around’ experience and start ‘Talking About Business’ before you even arrive!
