The Design Council and the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) Ltd are working in partnership to deliver an exciting programme to help forward thinking businesses to stay ahead of the competition. Developed by the Design Council and supported by government, the Design Leadership Programme provides businesses with access to expert design support to help them develop and grow.
The programme includes a tailored package of high calibre design-led support which is ideally priced for micro businesses. It also offers practical, structured guidance on how to manage the design process as well as access to Design Council tools and techniques; which can then be used to help identify and exploit opportunities for maximum effect.
Anyone interested in the programme is encouraged to reserve a place at a free breakfast taster session at the BIC's Open Space in Sunderland, SR5 2TA on Wednesday 17th September (8.00am - 9:30am).
Elizabeth Shaw, Innovation Manager at the North East BIC said:
"For many businesses design relates solely to the shaping and styling of products and services but used effectively it can mean so much more, and in many instances it has helped to transform and the way businesses think and work.
"The breakfast session is an ideal opportunity for businesses to come along and find out more about the Design Leadership programme and how it can provide a framework for innovation and growth."
