The most popular business growth fund in the North East has already paid out over £1.3m to help businesses with the delivery of their growth plans.
The North East Business Support Fund helps businesses access high quality external expertise to support or deliver business improvement or growth projects. Up to 40% funding is available, to a maximum of up to £1,400, for projects such as expansion planning, web design / development, marketing/brand design, introducing quality management systems, marketing strategy development and product development. The offer is available to small and medium sized enterprises (SME's) based in the North East who are planning to grow.
Over 1200 businesses have already received their funding with hundreds more in the process of completing their projects. The fund, which is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007-13, expects to provide funding to hundreds more businesses in the coming months but as demand continues to increase and the funding programme nears its end in 2015 any business interested in applying is encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
