The most popular business funding offer in the North East is being extended to June 2015 to allow even more businesses to access the support.
The North East Business Support Fund, which has already helped over 1,300 businesses with over £1.4m, helps businesses access high quality external expertise to support or deliver business improvement or growth projects. 40% funding is available, to a maximum of up to £1,400, for projects such as expansion planning, web design / development, marketing/brand design, introducing quality management systems, marketing strategy development and product development. The offer is available to small and medium sized enterprises (SME's) based in the North East who are planning to grow.
The programme is now able to assist businesses with projects that can be fully completed by the end of June 2015.

The extension to the programme means that several hundred more businesses will be able to benefit from the funding offer which has already helped over 1,300 businesses to turn their growth plans into reality."
