A County Durham based packaging company is looking to boost ambitious growth plans with the launch of a brand new website.
Founded in 1989, Durham Box has grown to employ over 50 staff and manufactures over 20 million products a year from its Bishop Auckland base. “We’ve come a long way in our 27 year history”, said Richard Turnbull, “With our continued investment in the latest plant and machinery, a new website to showcase Durham Box at our very best and more importantly drive new business was central to our growth plans”.
With supportive funding from the North East Business Support Fund, (NEBSF), a service delivered by NBSL, Durham Box approached leading Newcastle web design company Urban River, to launch their new website. The NEBSF initiative provides 35 per cent funding - up to £2800 - towards a project worth up to £8000.
“We’ve worked with the great team at Urban River for many years now”, said Richard, “Having done such a fantastic job with our last website, it was an easy choice to re-engage with the Urban River team once again”. “We couldn’t be happier with the new site and being able to work with a local company and continue supporting North East business was very important to us”.
