Sunderland University has announced a new funding programme aimed exclusively at SME manufacturing businesses based in the North East.
The programme is ERDF funded and can be used to support product/process and technology developments. Eligible businesses will be able to access practical engineering support to help them to improve processes such as CAD/CAM, Supply Chain or Quality Management; drive improvements in technology such as Robotics, Sensors, Process Simulation and VR and also look at research projects including Materials, Inspection, Data Analytics and Sustainable Manufacturing. In addition to the practical support available, there are also capital grants for collaborative investment in new technology.
