Knowledge Exchange Internships
Reap the rewards of graduate knowledge, skills and innovation to help your company stay ahead of the competition. Whether you want to improve or develop a product, embed a new service within your organisation or enter new markets, the university have trained and experienced graduates to help you move your business forward and with the added benefit of expert support when needed.
The Innovate Durham project provides both internships and placements that range from 6-12 months depending on your project. They will work closely with you to understand your specific needs and help you through the recruitment process to ensure the right fit for your business.
Knowledge Exchange Internships offer an innovative and customised approach to help you solve a technical or business challenge. You'll be helped you recruit a graduate for your project who has access to support from an industry expert or an academic from Teesside University for up to 2 days per month. Subsidies are available for internships depending on eligibility criteria and projects are available over 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your needs.

If you have an idea for an innovative product or service, the experienced team at The Forge offers impartial innovation advice and support to help take your ideas forward. Their specialist knowledge of the innovation and funding landscape, coupled with industry-specific expertise, cutting edge academic research and national and international networks, means they can help you identify the innovation funding that is relevant to your business.
