Since June 2018, we’ve had a new round of funding worth £1m to help more County Durham businesses to bring in external expertise to help them to grow – and to let businesses understand how the funding can help them and just how simple the whole process is, we’ve worked with the incredibly talented team at Your Film to develop this superb animation.
So how do you let someone understand everything about our County Durham funding in less than 2 minutes? Matthew Newman from Your Film takes us through the process:
“We have delivered many client projects over the years which were supported by NEBSF, so it was an interesting challenge to put ourselves in the 'customer' position and figure out how best to communicate the messaging for this project. We needed to include some vital information, for instance around eligibility and funding parameters, but also needed to represent the simplicity of the process. We kept the voiceover simple, answering key questions quickly - Who can apply? How much can I get? What can I use it for? What's the process? - and paired this with fluid transitions between scenes, to underscore the smooth process of accessing the fund. The visual approach we adopted is modern and stylish, and gives the viewer an opportunity to 'see themselves' in the characters, and to start thinking about how they might use funding support from NEBSF. We're delighted with the final animation, and look forward to helping our clients develop similar projects with NEBSF support!”
