Northumbria University has launched its new Santander student and graduate internship funding. The funding will be of interest to small and medium sized businesses looking for either full or part-time staff on a longer-term basis or a shorter project/activity. The intern can be from any degree or Masters subject with the role meeting your own organisation’s needs.
There are a couple of different options with the funding:
• 2 weeks fully funded
• 3-10 weeks – the funding will pay for 50% of the minimum hourly rate (£8.75), up to a maximum £1,531.25 (35 hours per week for 10 weeks).
In previous years we’ve had great outcomes around employer satisfaction and as demonstrated by, our most recent Santander Internship funding where, over 60% of the interns being offered further employment.
The application form will only take 10 minutes to complete. We can help with the development of the job description and we’ll also advertise the vacancy to Northumbria students and graduates. You’ll decide who to appoint to the role.
