SME’s in the Tees Valley are set to benefit from a new 3 year funding programme aimed at developing their Leadership and Management capability.
The new programme, which is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by NBSL under the Business Compass programme, will provide funding for 230 Tees Valley based SME’s to help them increase their competitiveness and productivity.
Commenting on the funding, Jonpaul Heron, Business Compass Leadership and Management Project Manager at NBSL, said: “We’re incredibly pleased to be able to offer this new funding programme to support SME’s in the Tees Valley – effective leadership and management is the cornerstone of success in any size of business and this funding will help to put in place the capacity and capability that businesses need to grow and develop into the future. A wide range of projects can be funded and I’m keen to talk to any business that wants to explore the options available to them”.
The funding can provide a grant of up to 40% towards a project costing between £2500 and £5000, a maximum grant of £2000. Projects that involve external provision delivering coaching, mentoring or knowledge transfer (relating to any business discipline that will improve the capability and/or capacity of leaders and managers), could be eligible for a grant.
