Working with leading chemical analysis testing business, Chemtech Environmental, based in Stanley, County Durham, NBSL has been able to support the continued development of the strategic management team through the North East Business Support Fund (County Durham).
Operating as a successful husband and wife team since 2001, co-founders John and Karen Campbell introduced Zoe Farrington into the senior team and quickly recognised the opportunity to embed a new structure and decision-making process to support the 40+ staff base.
Bringing in an external Business Coach – via the North East Business Support Fund – part financed by the European Regional Development Fund – the new strategic team were able to improve their individual confidence levels through coaching, improve their combined decision making skills and develop plans for growth allowing a dynamic future to emerge for the business.
