The sheer determination of North East businesses to adapt during the COVID-19 crisis has been incredible to see and support. Businesses across the North East have been regularly applying to the North East Business Support Fund to seek grants to update their business models or improve their communications through the use of digital technology.

It takes 15 minutes to complete our online application process and our advisors can now handle our whole contracting process virtually. We’ve taken our contracting service online and our remote support service allows for a swift turnaround service to businesses across the North East ensuring clients can start projects quickly. We’re proud to say we are currently supporting 150+ businesses in the North East with live business projects.
But we’ve not just improved our digital dialogue with our clients, our masterclasses have now moved online allowing us to deliver personal and tailored support on a range of different subjects.

The last 100 days have been difficult in different ways for all of us and we’ve all felt the struggle at one point – whether personally or professionally. As well as continuing to offer our successful Bitesize Business programme, we’ve also developed a programme across the North of Tyne Combined authority landscape.
