- An introduction to social media – tools, tips and how to generate a return – turning clicks that make your business tick
Branding, marketing, sales strategy and pitching all make a welcome return along with tailored support on budget forecasting and the development of leadership skills – turning a good manager into a strong leader.
David Jackson, Skills Manager at NBSL said “We’ve developed additional sessions given the constantly changing dynamics of how we work, making sure that small business owners – and employees - can invest their time wisely, carefully improving and adapting their skills to the new business landscape. Customers and the landscape have changed very quickly over the past 12 months and there is a huge opportunity to innovate and update working practices through the invigorating and refreshing business skills. Confidence is high but we can provide businesses with the courage to make decisive business growth decisions”.
“The synergy between our skills and enterprise initiatives working alongside the North East Business Support Fund grant programme and the North of Tyne Innovation Recovery grant programme has allowed us to provide an integrated business support package at a crucial time that boosts courage and confidence” added David.
Better Business Skills is an initiative aimed at residents and businesses living and working in Newcastle Upon Tyne, North Tyneside and Northumberland. With registrations already being taken for the autumn programme, NBSL are advising to register interest early to avoid disappointment.
